Terms of Service

1. Services

Aasva provides interior design consulting, space planning, material procurement, project management, and allied services for residential properties. The specific scope of services for each project is defined in a written Scope of Work (SOW) document agreed upon before project commencement.

We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our area of expertise or that conflict with our design philosophy.

2. Payment Terms

Payments are structured in milestones as outlined in the project agreement:

• Design Fee (30%): Due upon signing the design agreement, before concept development begins.
• Procurement Advance (40%): Due upon approval of design drawings, before material orders are placed.
• Progress Payment (20%): Due at 50% site completion milestone.
• Final Payment (10%): Due upon project handover and client sign-off.

All payments are to be made via bank transfer or UPI to the account details provided in the invoice. GST is applicable as per prevailing rates. Delayed payments beyond 7 days of due date may attract a 2% monthly interest charge.

3. Project Timeline

Project timelines are estimates based on scope and are subject to change due to:

• Delayed client approvals or payments
• Material procurement lead times
• Site conditions beyond Aasva's control
• Client-initiated scope changes
• Force majeure events

Aasva will communicate timeline changes proactively. Scope changes requested by the client after design approval may result in revised timelines and additional costs.

4. Intellectual Property

All design concepts, drawings, 3D renders, mood boards, and creative materials produced by Aasva remain the intellectual property of Aasva until full payment is received. Upon complete payment, the client receives a license to use these materials for the specific project.

Aasva retains the right to photograph completed projects and use such photography for portfolio, marketing, and social media purposes, unless the client provides written objection prior to project completion.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

If a client cancels a project after signing the agreement:

• Before design work begins: 80% of the design fee is refundable.
• After design concepts are presented: Design fee is non-refundable.
• After procurement orders are placed: No refund on procurement amounts; material costs are borne by the client.

6. Limitation of Liability

Aasva's total liability to any client shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific project in question. Aasva is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. We are not responsible for manufacturer defects in materials procured on behalf of clients; warranty claims must be directed to the respective manufacturer.

7. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. We encourage clients to first attempt resolution through direct communication before pursuing legal action.
